BIO:
Hailing from Sauk City, Wisconsin, Dan Lepien is carrying the torch for pure, traditional country music with distinctive, well-crafted songwriting and a road warrior’s work ethic. Fully independent and without a record label, Lepien has carved out a living in country music—writing most of his songs as solo-writes and steering clear of the Music Row formula of heavy co-writing. His sound has drawn comparisons to country legends, and his steadfast approach has earned him a loyal following, especially among classic and traditional country fans.
Lepien’s debut full-length album The Honky Tonk Traditional (05.16.25) received critical acclaim, including an 8/10 rating from Saving Country Music, cementing his place in today’s country music landscape. He has shared the stage with some of his heroes (Brooks & Dunn, Clint Black, John Anderson, Shenandoah), recorded in Nashville with A-team producers and players, and later returned to the Midwest to record his debut full-length with producer Greg Huberty.
